The Other Side

Visual artist Cheryl Wassenaar and poet Brigid Dolan collaborate on “The Other Side” a site-specific project about 2733 Arsenal in St. Louis, MO. This 100 year-old building was formerly a general store, and serves as the site of Cosign Projects, curated by Lauren Adams. Dolan responded to the building’s past in a first person narrative, with words that carry us through the cycles of lives lived there. Wassenaar arranged portions of the text on the windows of the building, allowing the shifting shadows of the poem to occupy the rooms.
